About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our Assessments Division as a Functional Assessor. As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in helping people move forward with their lives by conducting assessments to determine their eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Listen to customers' experiences, ask questions, and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
  • Work on a variety of cases across a range of conditions, using your clinical knowledge and skills to deliver a high-quality service.
