Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in our world-class Autism & Learning Disability service at St Andrew's Healthcare.
About the Role
As a registered Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals who have a diagnosis of ASD, LD, and mental health conditions. You will be responsible for offering OT specific assessment and treatment to groups and individuals within your care, and will have the chance to be innovative and create new therapy ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within a secure setting to provide occupational therapy services to individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans to support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals.
- Participating in research and development activities to improve clinical outcomes and services.
Requirements
- Experience working within a secure setting.
- Sound knowledge and experience of working with individuals who have a diagnosis of ASD, LD, and mental health conditions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop good professional relationships with members of the MDT and patient group.
