Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Setting the Standard Inspection Officer to join our team at AD WARRIOR. As a key member of our Commissioning Alliance, you will play a vital role in delivering a pan-London housing standards & inspection service.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect Temporary Accommodation, focusing on Bed & Breakfasts and Studio Apartments used to house vulnerable people/families.
- Ensure compliance with housing standards and regulations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies for improving housing standards and reducing non-compliance.
- Conduct thorough inspections, documenting findings and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, housing providers, and other relevant parties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housing standards and inspection, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
