About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team at ASDA. As a key member of our procurement function, you'll play a crucial role in driving our transformation journey and supporting our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and improve procurement efficiency.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to influence and support transformation initiatives.
  • Lead on major business investments and executive priorities within the function.
  • Contribute to our cost and cash programme, leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making.
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience in procurement or category management, with a strong understanding of sourcing and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business insights.
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results.
