Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Recovery Facilitator to join our team at Bracknell Forest Council. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and risk assessments for individuals with substance misuse issues, particularly adults and young people.
  • Deliver a variety of substance misuse interventions, tailored to support recovery from addictions, and provide harm reduction advice.
  • Liaise with partner agencies to gain relevant information for a holistic approach to treatment.
Requirements
  • You must hold an NVQ 2/3 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification, with a good standard of education in subjects like GCSE English and Maths.
  • You should possess a solid understanding of safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults while promoting their welfare.
  • You will be IT literate and efficient in using Word, Excel, and in-house systems.
Working Conditions

This role involves working in office-based and community environments, managing a caseload, conducting quarterly care plan reviews, and maintaining accurate service records.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, flexible working hours, and a supportive work environment.
