Corporate Security Officer

Job Summary:
ICTS Europe is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our clients' premises and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control Management: Manage access control for buildings and car parks, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors have access to secure areas.
- Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect potential security threats.
- Customer Service: Respond to customer requests and queries in a professional and friendly manner.
- ID Verification: Check and challenge ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.
- Alarm Response: De-activate and activate alarms as necessary.
- Key Management: Unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to ensure that no unauthorized personnel or hazards are on site.
- Health and Safety: Identify and report Health & Safety issues and carry out first aid if necessary.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents and activities using computer- and paper-based systems.
Requirements:
- Experience: Substantial experience as a Corporate Security Officer is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Teamwork: Strong customer service, team working, and collaboration skills are necessary.
- Professionalism: The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure is essential.
- Reporting: The ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports is required.
- IT Skills: Competent IT and administration skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, are necessary.
- Appearance and Demeanour: A professional appearance and demeanour are required.
- Training: A willingness to undertake development training is essential.
- Licenses and Certifications: An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is required.
- Background Check: Five years' checkable history and references are necessary, and a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards must be passed.
Desirable Qualifications:
- First Aid at Work: A First Aid at Work qualification would be beneficial.
- AED Qualification: An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) qualification would be advantageous.
