Job Overview

Synapri is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team in a leading role within the consumer credit industry. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive network within the UK credit industry, including contacts with members, regulators, debt advisors, credit bureaus, and credit data companies.
  • Work closely with the personal finance team to provide leadership, consultancy, and secretariat support to the Credit PSB and working committees.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on consumer credit, debt, credit data, and related operational processes.

Required Knowledge and Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of consumer credit, debt, credit data, and related operational processes.
  • Understanding of the external challenges faced by members of the financial services industry.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience in managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong background in operational processes, compliance, policy work, and familiarity with CCA, credit risk, CONC, or credit data.
  • Ability to lead as a subject matter expert and present effectively to high-level governance committees.
