About the Role

This challenging and rewarding role requires a senior care professional with extensive knowledge and expertise in Children's Social Care. As a Senior Practitioner Lead, you will be responsible for complex cases, mentoring staff, and providing expert support, advice, and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective social work assessment, care planning, and interventions in demanding sensitive and complex cases to improve the safety, development, and wellbeing of children/young people involved.
  • Supervise casework, ensuring appropriate supervision and direction for social workers, assistants, students, and childcare professionals.
  • Resolve complex case management issues, taking positive action to address risks and meet demands in conjunction with Deputy/Team Manager.
