Wantage Nursing Home seeks an experienced Care Team Leader to lead our residential care team.

About the Role:

You will oversee the daily needs of our residents, supporting Care Assistants in their roles and contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Care Delivery: Ensure high-quality care is provided to residents in line with their individual care plans.
  2. Care Assistant Development: Support and develop Care Assistants to enable them to perform their duties effectively.
  3. Environment Enhancement: Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes respect, dignity, and well-being for all residents and staff.
  4. Resident Engagement: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the lives of our residents through leisure and social activities.
Requirements:
  • Essential experience in care, preferably with an NVQ3 in Social Care.
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility in work approach.
  • A genuine affection for older people and their needs, with a commitment to treating everyone with respect and dignity.
Perks:
  • Negotiable Salary: Competitive hourly rate: £14.07.
  • Nights Work: 44 hours per week.
  • Leave Arrangements: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata).
