Exciting Opportunity for a Locum Consultant Haematologist

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Haematologist to join their team for a period of up to 3 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and enthusiastic environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be based at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, working closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB Haematology service is a leading provider of haematological services in Wales, with close links to the regional Haematology and BMT centre based in the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical expertise in all areas of haematology, including haematological oncology
  • Reporting bone marrow/trephines and blood films
  • Participating in laboratory-based research and development
  • Contributing to the development of haematology services in the region
Requirements
  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • FRCPath or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience and ability in clinical haematology
