Exciting Opportunity for a Locum Consultant Haematologist

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Haematologist to join their team for a period of up to 3 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and enthusiastic team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be based at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, working closely with the regional Haematology and BMT centre based in the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. The Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB Haematology service performs BCSH level 2 Haematology and has close links with the regional centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing clinical expertise in all areas of haematology, including haematological oncology
  • Reporting bone marrow/trephines and blood films
  • Participating in laboratory-based research
  • Contributing to the development of the Haematology service
Requirements
  • Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • FRCPath or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience and ability in clinical haematology
