R&D Director

Nexperia, a leading global semiconductor company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Research and Development to drive the company's product group strategy and oversee the successful design and release of next-generation Power MOSFET product families and technology platforms.

• Lead a team of highly skilled engineers and experts in the development of industry-leading Power MOSFET product portfolios
• Develop and execute the future product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer and market requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, process development, assembly, and industrial functions, to ensure new product releases meet manufacturability, reliability, and customer requirements
• Provide technical guidance and leadership across the organization, coaching and mentoring team members to drive innovation and excellence
• Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders, participating in activities between various functions, including wafer fab, assembly, test, quality, applications, and business groups

• Proven experience in leading R&D teams in a semiconductor environment
• Track record of driving and delivering projects on time in a managerial capacity
• General understanding of semiconductor device physics, characterization, and process flow
• Understanding of Power MOSFETs, including electrical operation, device physics, wafer fabrication processes, packaging flows, reliability methods, characterization, and failure modes
• Ability to communicate complex concepts and requirements clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels
