R&D Director

Nexperia, a leading semiconductor company, is seeking a seasoned R&D Director to spearhead the development of next-generation Power MOSFET product families and technology platforms. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for driving the product group strategy, overseeing the successful design and release of industry-leading Power MOSFET product portfolios.

• Lead a high-performing team of engineers and experts dedicated to the release of Power MOSFET product portfolios
• Develop and execute the future product roadmap, ensuring alignment with manufacturability, reliability, customer, and market requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, process development, assembly, and industrial functions, to ensure new product releases meet customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence
• Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and driving business growth

• Proven experience in leading R&D teams in a semiconductor environment
• Track record of delivering projects on time in a managerial capacity
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, characterization, and process flow
• Familiarity with Power MOSFETs, including electrical operation, device physics, wafer fabrication processes, packaging flows, reliability methods, characterization, and failure modes
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels
