Seeking a skilled finance professional to join the team at Glos as a part-time Finance Assistant. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in financial roles and proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Office.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing financial tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department, and overseeing credit control to ensure timely payments from customers.

We offer a competitive salary package, including £12.50 per hour, plus additional benefits and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage payroll, sales, and purchase ledgers, including posting customer payments, processing supplier invoices, and reconciling accounts.
  2. Assist with financial reporting, preparing and presenting data to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  3. Collaborate with coordinators and resolve finance-related queries in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a financial role, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  • Proficient in Sage and Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in data analysis and financial reporting.
