Temp to Perm Relief Driver in Brighouse

We are seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver to join our client\u2019s team in Brighouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short or long distances while operating various vehicles, including 18t Curtain Siders, 18t Box Rigid, and 3.5t Box vans.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining the safety of their cargo, and adhering to strict safety protocols. This role will involve nights out away from base when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport goods over short or long distances
  • Operate various vehicles, including 18t Curtain Siders, 18t Box Rigid, and 3.5t Box vans
  • Ensure timely loading and unloading deliveries
  • Maintain the safety of their cargo
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Valid UK C license for a minimum of 12 months
  • Experience driving a Class 2 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months
  • No more than 6 points on license for minor offences
  • In-date Digital Tachograph Card
  • Up-to-date CPC Qualification Card
  • Ability to carry out manual handling and loading

What We Offer:
