Class 2 Driver Position

We are seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver to join our clients team in Brighouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short or long distances while operating various vehicles, including 18t Curtain Siders, 18t Box Rigid, and 3.5t Box vans.
About the RoleThis is a vital role in ensuring timely loading and unloading deliveries and maintaining the safety of cargo. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday with nights out as needed, typically between 04.00 - 06.00am.
Key Responsibilities- Transport goods over short or long distances
- Operate 18t Curtain Siders, 18t Box Rigid, and 3.5t Box vans
- Ensure timely loading and unloading deliveries
- Maintain the safety of cargo
- Valid UK C license for a minimum of 12 months
- Experience driving a Class 2 vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months
- No more than 6 points on license for minor offences
- In-date Digital Tachograph Card
- Up-to-date CPC Qualification Card
- Ability to carry out manual handling and loading
