Job OverviewThe City of Lincoln Council is seeking a skilled Resource Planner to join our Housing Repairs Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of our repairs and maintenance service.
Your primary responsibility will be to schedule resources over a period of days to weeks, ensuring that tenants receive a high-quality service and that resources are utilized effectively.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience of maintaining systems and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret customer repair requirements.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to be able to work in an environment subject to changing tasks and priorities, and have a strong understanding of equal opportunities policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work under the general direction of the Resource Planner Team Leader to contribute to the achievement of delivery of the repairs and maintenance service.
• Schedule resources over the period of days to weeks to ensure that tenants are given a good service and that the resources are used efficiently.
• Interpret customer repair requirements and communicate effectively with relevant personnel to ensure effective completion of required works.
• Maintain systems and procedures, such as Servitor, Universal Housing, and Optitime/DRS.
• Work in an environment subject to changing tasks and priorities.
• Promote equal opportunities, policies, and practices.
