Resource Planner Job Description

About the Role

The City of Lincoln Council is seeking a skilled Resource Planner to join our Housing Repairs Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of repairs and maintenance services to our tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the general direction of the Resource Planner Team Leader to contribute to the achievement of delivery of the repairs and maintenance service.
  • Schedule resources over the period of days to weeks to ensure that tenants are given a good service and that resources are used efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience of maintaining systems and procedures, such as Servitor, Universal Housing, and Optitime/DRS.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret customers' repair requirements and communicate effectively with relevant personnel to ensure effective completion of required works.
  • Experience in working in an environment subject to changing tasks and priorities.
  • GCSE Maths and English – Grade A to C or equivalent.
  • Understanding of, and willingness to, promote equal opportunities, policies, and practices.
