About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join our Facilities team at the University of Salford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out minor installations, maintenance, and reactive repairs on the electrical infrastructure and services across our estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out minor installations, maintenance, and reactive repairs on electrical infrastructure and services
- Work independently and as part of the wider Estates team to deliver a high-quality service
- Provide exceptional customer care and communication skills to our staff and students
- Work a flexible working week, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work
- Be part of the out-of-hours call-out rota within the trades team
About Estates and Property Services
The Estates and Facilities Services Directorate is responsible for delivering a full estates and facilities management service to the University, including property maintenance, planned maintenance, and renovation, cleaning, security, caretaking, and facilitating spaces for our staff and students.
