Electrical Tradesperson

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join our team at the University of Salford. As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for carrying out minor installations, maintenance, and reactive repairs on the electrical infrastructure and services across the estate.
Key Responsibilities- Work on your own initiative in the main, but also as part of the wider Estates team.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and customer care skills, as you will be responsible for completing tasks and acting on queries and situations that arise daily, in a professional and friendly manner.
- May, at times, work a flexible working week outside of the agreed shift pattern, including occasional early starts, late finishes, or weekend work as part of the out-of-hours call-out rota within the trades team.
- Completed a full indentured apprenticeship registered with the JIB/CITB or a City and Guilds of London Institute Certificate NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations (minimum).
- Successfully completed AM2 assessment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Hold certifications in current IET wiring regulations.
