About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join our team at Anson McCade. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in driving innovation in advanced power systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC): Oversee EMC management and verification, working with EMC test houses and supporting installations.
  • Specify and Integrate Bespoke Hardware: Work on the specification and integration of bespoke procured hardware, ensuring it meets project requirements and performance standards.
  • Verify and Test Designs: Use simulation, analysis, and testing to verify design performance. You'll also support EMC testing and collaborate with related engineering disciplines.
  • Generate Technical Documentation: Create detailed design documentation and technical reports, ensuring all project aspects are clearly communicated.
Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in electronic design for volume production.
  • Familiarity with Electrical Safety Standards and EMC qualifications, particularly in high-safety environments.
