As a Home Based Occupational Therapist at JustOT, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to individuals, ensuring that they receive the support they need to achieve their goals. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to utilize your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake strengths-based assessments, applying relevant legislation and developing and implementing support plans aimed at improving wellbeing and delivering outcomes
  • Work effectively in partnership with other staff and voluntary agencies, having a good understanding of all the relevant health, voluntary and private services in the area
  • Strive to remain up-to-date and compliant with all relevant legislation and adhere to organisational procedures, policies, and codes of conduct as well as Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) professional standards and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (Professional standards for occupational therapy practice, conduct and ethics)
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience of applying a risk enablement approach and using evidence-based practice
  • Experience of analysis and interpretation of people-related information and data to prioritize needs and formulate plans for intervention and service provision
  • Ability to recognize the limits of own accountability and responsibility, know when to seek appropriate support, advice, and supervision, and to prioritize and organize work and meet agreed performance expectations
  • Sound and accurate IT skills to ensure effective record-keeping, compliant with data protection, and respecting confidentiality
