Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Development Chemist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our R&D team, you will play a pivotal role in formulating innovative products, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring product excellence from concept to consumer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver continuous formulation improvement across our diverse product base.
- Prioritize and delegate multiple improvement project tasks to the wider team of R&D chemists.
- Develop formulation breakdowns, specifications, and methods of manufacture for new formulations.
- Reformulate existing formulations to address stability and regulatory issues, ensuring products meet quality and compliance standards.
- Identify new raw materials and ingredients, analyze samples to confirm they meet our stringent ethical, sustainability, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Degree, Masters, or PhD in chemistry/chemical engineering.
- Ideal experience in formulating cosmetics, skincare, or household products.
- A strong passion for green chemistry and sustainable products.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- A problem solver with strong organizational skills and clear communication.
