About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team at Victrex. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating our processes to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating manufacturing processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Undertaking plant maintenance tasks to ensure efficient and effective operation of plant production
  • Maintaining required standards of plant housekeeping to ensure safe and efficient working practices
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities within the scope of the role and supporting wider activities to enable the business to deliver in the most effective and efficient way possible

Your Experience

We are looking for an individual with experience working in an extrusion-based manufacturing environment where safety is a key priority. You should also have experience of working in a small and busy team, delivering to plan and strictly adhering to processes and procedures.

Additionally, you should be able to problem solve and troubleshoot within the remit of the Process Operator role. Due to the nature of the role, you must be capable of safely carrying out manual handling tasks.

The shift pattern consists of alternating between working four 12-hour days followed by six days off, then working four 12-hour nights followed by another six days off. In addition to this rotation, there are 10 days of annual leave allotted to each employee.
