About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to drive innovation and transformation in the UK and Western European banking market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advancing FintechOS's mission to empower banks to offer customer-centric experiences through digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a local go-to-market strategy tailored for the UK banking sector and Western European markets.
  • C-Level Engagement: Build trust with C-Level executives and design compelling, customized partnership proposals.
  • Value Proposition Articulation: Clearly articulate the value proposition of FintechOS to potential prospects and stakeholders.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with new customers, identifying potential revenue opportunities across the territory.
  • Complex Sales Management: Lead complex sales cycles across multiple countries for international customers.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Ensure a seamless transition between sales and professional services teams for enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Team Orientation: Work collaboratively with other departments to nurture a results-driven, team-oriented company culture.
  • Proposal Development: Build partnership proposals and assist with RFP responses for potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience in Selling Digital and Core Systems for the Banking Industry: Demonstrated experience in a sales role with a focus on identifying needs, tailoring messaging to business objectives, and driving sales.
  • Banking Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience working within UK banks and credit unions and selling to financial institutions.
  • Start-Up Acumen: Ability to embrace the challenges and opportunities of a start-up environment.
  • Enterprise Sales Expertise: Proven capability in managing complex enterprise sales processes.
  • Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to sell consultatively by understanding customer needs, challenging their solutions, and creating effective closing strategies.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask across multiple sales conversations.
  • SaaS and Digital Transformation Knowledge: Good understanding of SaaS, digital transformation technologies, and delivery models in the financial services industry.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with pre-sales and other departments to ensure smooth process execution.
  • Sales Tools Proficiency: Experience with various sales tools and technologies.
  • Sales Methodology Training: Trained in MEDDIC or other sales methodologies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills.
