Financial Analyst Trainee

At Rutherford Briant, we are seeking a Financial Analyst Trainee to join our busy accounts team in Ipswich.
The estimated salary for this role is £24,000 - £28,000 per annum.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage year-end accounts, monthly management accounts, and support audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with corporate and personal tax returns, P11Ds, and client statements for Companies House, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Contribute to VAT returns and participate in audits and visit client sites to gain valuable industry experience.
Requirements:
- A minimum AAT level 3 qualification (or studying L4 AAT/ACA/ACCA) to demonstrate expertise in financial analysis and accounting principles.
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within practice, showcasing your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
