Job Description

Mechanical Service Engineer Role


As a Mechanical Service Engineer with The Selection Partnership Ltd, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical power presses on site at customers' premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairing mechanical power presses
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with mechanical power presses
  • Stripping and rebuilding mechanical power presses
  • Working on power presses with capacities ranging from 1 ton to 1000 tons
  • Maintaining knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication systems
  • Understanding various types of mechanical and friction clutch and brake units


Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical service engineering
  • Knowledge of mechanical power presses and their components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
