Job Title: Learning Support Professional - Dyslexia Specialist

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Professional to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with dyslexia in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with additional needs. You will work closely with our exceptional staff, SENDCo, and SEN Leadership Team Members to provide tailored support and guidance to pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the development of children with dyslexia through 1:1 and group sessions
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery to ensure inclusive learning practices
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to help pupils reach their full potential

Requirements:
  • A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field from a top UK University
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably with those who have dyslexia
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children
