One Pennsylvania, a leading advocacy organization based at Bryn Mawr College, seeks an experienced professional to serve as its Deputy Civic Engagement Director. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our statewide civic engagement strategy that ensures our communities are the ones crafting a vision for a better Pennsylvania and holding elected officials accountable to that vision at every level of government.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with community, labor, or electoral organizations, with a strong track record of developing and winning campaigns. You will be expected to implement civic engagement efforts that advance our issue campaigns, legislative priorities, local and state ballot initiatives, and One Pennsylvania's electoral priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing statewide field plans, including budgets and timelines
  • Managing and implementing One PA's civic engagement initiatives, including census, voter registration, redistricting, voter education, and Get Out the Vote (GOTV) initiatives across the state
  • Providing written reports and products that help effectively communicate One PA's work
  • Ensuring the high quality and success of One PA's civic engagement programs through quality control monitoring
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations corresponding to voter registration

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with community, labor, or electoral organizations
  • Exceptional supervision and coaching skills, including managing staff
  • Knowledge of civic engagement work, running large-scale canvassing programs, community organizing, political education, and movement building
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask without sacrificing quality
  • Computer proficiency is required: email, internet, database/spreadsheet, word processing, and web conferencing
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license and a car

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience drafting field plans including budgets

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
