About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Amber Labs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement AWS infrastructure solutions using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, and more.
  2. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and release processes.
  3. Build, configure, and monitor systems in multi-cloud environments, hosting on both public and private clouds.
  4. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability using tools like Dynatrace and AWS CloudWatch.
  5. Enable data replication and archival processes to support robust data management strategies.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and drive project delivery.
  7. Stay updated on the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Proven experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS cloud environments.
  3. Strong understanding of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, Lambda, and RDS.
  4. Experience with multi-cloud environments and hosting on both public and private clouds.
  5. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Golang for automation tasks.
  6. Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  7. Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  8. Strong experience with data replication and data archival strategies.
  9. AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, are a plus.
