Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Austin Fraser in Ware, Hertfordshire. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and distribution of weekly and monthly payrolls for our group. This is a part-time role offering 25-27 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 pro-rata.

This role involves maintaining and updating employee data, collating and inputting employee weekly/monthly data, including attendance, sickness, and absence. You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting monthly and annual data and payments to the Inland Revenue (PAYE/NI), as well as calculating and submitting employee benefit information (P11D). Additionally, you will administer pension schemes and employee benefits, maintain employee records, and issue Contracts of Employment. Other tasks include calculation and submission of VAT and Intrastat returns for the group, administration of company insurances, analysis of export invoices, and preparation of Construction Industry Scheme monthly returns.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong organizational skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. If you have proven experience in payroll administration and a strong understanding of PAYE, NI contributions, and other payroll-related requirements, we encourage you to apply.
