Job Summary

We're looking for a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team as a Casual Minibus Driver. As a driver with Community Transport, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by providing safe and reliable transportation to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities

As a Casual Minibus Driver, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing professional and high-quality care to passengers with a range of additional needs
  • Collecting passengers and transporting them to destinations such as schools, day centres, and medical centres
  • Driving a non-emergency ambulance or minibus in accordance with the law, demonstrating a commitment to the comfort and safety of passengers
  • Working as part of a friendly team to provide a caring and supportive service to our passengers

Requirements

To be successful as a Casual Minibus Driver with Community Transport, you'll need:

  • A full UK driving licence with full D or D1 entitlement and a maximum of 3 penalty points
  • Experience of driving larger vehicles
  • Experience of transporting people or providing care and support to individuals in a health or social care setting
  • A satisfactory enhanced DBS check
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Resilience and the ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the business and a willingness to work unsociable hours

This role is a casual or 0 hours role, offering you the flexibility to accept or decline work to fit around your lifestyle or other commitments.
