About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join our Children in Care Teams at Greenwich Council. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people through care proceedings and permanence arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people through care proceedings and permanence arrangements
  • Work closely with the Court Progression Manager to ensure timely permanence for children
  • Collaborate with Family Finders and Life Story Workers to achieve permanence for children
  • Develop and implement effective plans to support children and young people
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders
