Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team at Torus Group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our portfolio is compliant with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work with the Compliance Team to provide an efficient and coordinated workflow to deliver full assurance of compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
- To liaise with internal and external contractors on site to ensure the service provides value for money, meets quality and statutory requirements, and achieves operational efficiencies.
- To implement a reliable, effective quality assurance system for all work streams by combining fully intrusive, work in progress and visual risk assessment inspections to help identify any trends or weaknesses and to provide findings/data for inclusion in monthly reporting.
- To monitor contractors / suppliers and ensure their standard of work is acceptable and in compliance with recognised safety practices and agreed specifications.
- To support the manager and ensure that financial payments are reviewed for accuracy and validity prior to processing.
- To provide technical support on-site monitoring standards and performance of contractors to ensure a high standard of quality and safety.
- To keep up to date with training, developments, and changes in legislation.
- To assist with organising internal and external audits and help embed any subsequent action plans including completing and maintaining property inspection records utilising IT systems where appropriate.
- To contribute to the delivery of the operational plan and the development of an outstanding service that makes a positive contribution to the Torus vision in a manner that reflects the Torus values.
- To act as champion of change, innovation, continuous improvement, value for money and risk management.

Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (18th Edition) & maintenance.
- IOSH Working Safely qualification or willing to work towards.
- Evidence of and commitment to continual professional and personal development.
- Must hold full current driving license.
- Ability to travel to various locations using own transport with business insurance.
