Volunteer Manager RoleWe are seeking an experienced Volunteer Manager to join our team at Kenwood House in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about volunteer management and wants to make a real difference in the heritage sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with our site team and HR department to design and implement new volunteering opportunities that meet the needs of our local community and our site. This includes managing the recruitment, training, support, retention, and recognition of volunteers across all areas of our work.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our volunteer programme is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience of successfully managing a diverse volunteering programme.
- Experience of working with local communities.
- Effective communication skills to deal confidently with a diverse range of audiences.
- A visible leadership style that inspires and motivates volunteers.
We offer a competitive salary from £29,343 per annum, depending on skills and experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
- 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays pro rata, rising to 28 days after three years.
