People and Culture Specialist

Playtech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Advisor to join our dynamic team in Holborn. As a key member of our People & Culture unit, you will play a vital role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that our employees feel valued, inspired, and empowered.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert HR guidance to managers and employees on a range of issues, including performance management, absence management, and employee relations.
- Manage and resolve low to mid-level employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up-to-date, legally compliant, and effectively communicated across the organisation.
- Oversee the accurate and timely management of HR administrative tasks, including employee records, contracts, and payroll-related matters.
- Work with the People and Culture team to identify training needs and help organise learning and development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and contribute to regular HR reporting and metrics.
- Support well-being, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Lead or support People & Culture projects, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a fast-paced or dynamic environment.
- Proven experience managing employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance cases.
- A track record of executing exciting and engaging wellbeing initiatives that support mental and physical health as well as DEIB initiatives.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law, UK immigration law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and familiarity with HR systems.
