About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our team at Advanced Resource Managers (ARM), a specialist talent acquisition and management consultancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hazard management and risk analysis, including fault tree and event tree analyses, to ensure the safety of our clients' projects.
  • Develop and maintain safety arguments and contribute to ALARP statements to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with systems teams to demonstrate satisfaction of safety requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Apply knowledge of DEF-STAN 00-056 to write Safety Management Plans that meet its requirements.
  • Utilize UK and International system engineering processes, particularly in safety-related systems and safety assessment processes, to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Integrate hazard analysis with system engineering processes to influence design and ensure safety.
  • Deliver supporting information, including Safety Case Reports, Hazard Analysis, Functional Failure Analysis, and FTA.
  • Demonstrate detailed electronic engineering experience, which is highly desirable.
