About the Role

18 Week Support Limited is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to join our team in the West Midlands. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our endoscopy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing patient care and support during endoscopy procedures
  • Assisting with the preparation and recovery of patients
  • Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and clean endoscopy environment
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • 2 years of recent experience in an acute endoscopy unit
  • Competent in managing and participating in emergency situations and GI bleeds
  • Able to administer IV medication and fluids
  • Ability to work in unfamiliar environments and use initiative and experience
  • Identify and escalate a deteriorating patient
