Leaders in Care, a leading specialist in Cancer Care, is seeking a dedicated Community Chemotherapy Nurse to join their team in Edinburgh.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves providing high-quality care to patients in their own homes across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting blood tests and toxicity assessments, administering IV and oral chemotherapy, and performing pump disconnections and line care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting blood tests and toxicity assessments
  • Administering IV and oral chemotherapy
  • Performing pump disconnections and line care
  • Providing IM/SC injections
  • Working independently in the community while staying connected with the wider nursing team
  • Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and therapies
  • Contributing to the development of innovative care models

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active NMC Pin as a Registered RGN Nurse
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy
  • Skills in Cannulation and Venepuncture
  • A valid Driving Licence
  • A SACT Passport or equivalent qualification
