Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy District Nursing Sister to join our innovative and dynamic team in the Newport borough.

We are seeking an experienced District Nurse who has successfully achieved the specialist practitioner District Nursing Qualification and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

As a Deputy District Nursing Sister, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of clinical interventions and sharing your expertise with less experienced staff.

You will also be required to undertake managerial responsibilities, including day-to-day and operational management of the team.

Requirements
  • Ability to provide expert clinical advice and teaching
  • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly to meet the needs of the service
  • Audit, quality assurance, and risk management skills

We are looking for an inspiring nurse who is enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, but Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
