Job Overview:

A leading food manufacturing company in Ipswich is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stock System Administrator with a strong background in SAP to oversee their stock management systems.

  1. System Administration: Manage and maintain the stock management system, ensuring seamless integration with SAP and other enterprise systems.
  2. SAP Expertise: Utilize expertise in SAP to manage stock movements, inventory tracking, and ensure accurate reporting. Resolve any SAP-related issues promptly, minimizing disruption to operations.
  3. Stock Control & Optimization: Monitor stock levels, oversee replenishment processes, and ensure accurate recording of inventory across multiple warehouses.
  4. Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate and analyze stock-related reports using SAP and other tools to support inventory management, reduce waste, and ensure product availability.
  5. Stock Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure physical stock aligns with system data.
  6. Training & Support: Provide training and support to staff on the stock management system and SAP processes.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure stock levels align with production schedules and demand forecasts.

Personal Profile:

  1. Proven experience as a Stock System Administrator or in a similar inventory management role, preferably within the food manufacturing sector.
  2. Strong working knowledge of SAP, particularly in relation to stock and inventory management.
  3. Solid understanding of stock control processes and best practices.
  4. High attention to detail and accuracy in managing stock data and reports.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other reporting tools.
  6. Knowledge of food manufacturing operations or a related industry is advantageous.
