Child Bereavement UK is a leading charity in the field of bereavement support. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Bereavement Support Practitioner. The successful candidate will work closely with the Bereavement Support Service Lead - North to provide and evaluate bereavement support services for families and individuals affected by the loss of a child or young person.

About the Role

The Bereavement Support Practitioner will be responsible for managing a caseload, providing individual and couple sessions, and developing facilitated groups for parents who have lost a child. They will also contribute to the provision of family support sessions, groups for young people, and school liaison.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Bereavement Support Service Lead to develop and deliver bereavement support services
  • Managing a caseload of clients and providing individual and couple sessions
  • Developing and facilitating groups for parents who have lost a child
  • Contributing to the development of family support sessions, groups for young people, and school liaison

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, 5% pension contribution, and life assurance scheme.
