Positive Behaviour Support Team Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Positive Behaviour Support Lead to join our team at YMCA Robin Hood Group. As a key member of our Children and Young People's Residential Therapeutic Service, you will be responsible for leading and working as part of a peripatetic rapid response team to provide additional support to staff and children when they become dysregulated.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver induction training on safeguarding, positive behaviour support, risk management, recording and reporting, ligature and TeamTeach.
- Encourage continuous professional development in the above training area.
- Foster positive behavioural support knowledge transfer to practice.
- Design and deliver proactive and reactive key working.
- Facilitate reflective debriefs.
- Utilise a risk reduction approach to audit, analyse and evaluate the use of TeamTeach within the service.
- Supervise and develop the positive behaviour support professionals within the team.
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in Positive Behaviour Support, who is passionate about making a real difference to the lives of children and young people in our care. You will have a Master's degree (desirable) or a minimum of a Bachelor's level (or equivalent) in PBS or a related field of Applied Behaviour Analysis, and be registered with a professional body such as the BACB, NMC, or HCPC.
