About the Role:

Cure Talent Limited is partnering with a rapidly growing MedTech Design House to find an experienced Senior Product Design Engineer.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Design Engineer to lead the development of medical devices from concept to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects in the development of products, mechanisms, and sub-assemblies.
  • Perform tolerance analysis to ensure high-quality, robust design of complex mechanical systems and components using tools such as FMEA, CFD, and computer simulation.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through to manufacture, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Rapidly prototype, functional lab test, and analyze test data to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with external manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure seamless production.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience covering the product design lifecycle and a degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience of Design Control, DFM, Design Transfer, Verification & Validation, Risk Management, Usability, and Human Factors.
  • Experience and knowledge of the requirements of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC.
  • Proven experience in developing plastic injection moulded components.
  • Proficient 3D CAD user, preferably with experience in Inventor, CREO, or SolidWorks.
