Job Title: Technology Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Technology Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our digital freight platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st line support for site & cloud infrastructure used by Digihaul in head office and remote locations.
  • Escalate major issues to line manager and assist with supplier relations to effectively resolve.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance, updates, configuration, and expertise of site infrastructure to adhere to security standards and best practices.
  • Report progress to line manager and wider business colleagues.
  • Assist in the provision and development of IT infrastructure for Digihaul, utilizing standard request procedures and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with Digihaul colleagues for important IT issues, developments & changes.
  • Contribute to Digihaul platform enhancement, suggesting value-add features, account configuration, and roadmap development.
  • Manage the performance of key external vendors against defined standards and SLAs.
  • Ensure appropriate Health & Safety knowledge and procedures are adhered to for the Technology department and any provisioned equipment.
  • Maintain IT documentation for training and testing purposes.
  • Manage continual process improvement for the Technology department, suggesting and implementing value-added services.
Requirements:
  • IT experience is essential.
  • Logistics/Freight industry experience is desirable.
  • Keen interest in applying business technology in a start-up environment.
  • Technical knowledge of Network/OS/Web Applications/Cloud services.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Influencing Skills – managing upwards.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
