Financial Services Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Services Coordinator to join our team at Step In Education. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing invoices, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and update accounts receivables and payables, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  2. Reconcile bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies or issues in processing financial statements.
  3. Provide excellent client service, responding promptly to inquiries and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
  4. Verify bills and requisitions for services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  5. Assist with audit activities, providing necessary documentation and support.
  6. Prepare and send invoices on time, storing records for future reference.
  7. Contact clients to update them on balance payments, ensuring timely resolution.
  8. Prepare and submit tax forms and their filings, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  9. Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets, maintaining data integrity.
  10. Process general administration functions, including managing paperwork and documents.
  11. Evaluate agreements and invoices, organizing customer contracts and analyzing transactions against financial policies.
  12. Analyze transactions with financial policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
  13. Support the governing body and directors, providing financial insights and recommendations.
  14. Create and manage daily paperwork for mailing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  15. Assist accountants, preparing cash flow reports and data, and providing support as needed.
  16. Prepare records of meeting minutes for future forecasts, making accounts and forecasts available to staff.
  17. Maintain and manage monthly journals, updating entries and maintaining a ledger.
Qualifications and Requirements

A minimum graduate degree is required, with some administrative knowledge desirable. Full training will be provided in this position.

Work Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working 9-5 Monday to Friday. The hourly salary range is £15-£16.
