Electrical Associate Engineer

Join our team of skilled electricians and engineers at a leading manufacturing company in Plymouth. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Associate Engineer to work on a day shift pattern, focusing on fixed wire EICR remedial work across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and diagnose issues in fixed wiring systems based on findings from Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
  • Perform thorough inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with current regulations and standards.
  • Conduct various tests on electrical systems (low voltage) to identify faults and verify the safety and functionality of installations.
  • Keep up to date with the latest changes in electrical regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
  • Support the Maintenance Engineering team in the installation and commissioning of new production lines, machines, and equipment as and when required.
Requirements:
  • Recognised Apprenticeship within Electrical Installation coupled with relevant experience as an Electrician or Electrical Engineer.
  • Test & Inspection 2391/2 or 2394/5.
  • Strong Testing / Inspection and fault-finding skills.
  • Domestic wiring experience (low voltage).
