Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment works on a supermarket project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) documents
  • Coordinate handovers and sign-offs with stakeholders
  • Implement and improve existing procedures to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Lead the day-to-day running of site activities, including supervising subcontractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Update and check against the construction programme to ensure project milestones are met
  • Prepare and manage site documents, such as work orders and purchase orders
  • Ensure the successful completion and handover of sections of work on site, meeting quality standards and implementing inspection and test plans
  • Communicate effectively with the client, subcontractors, and senior management team to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • SMSTS (Essential)
  • CSCS (Essential)
  • 3 Day First Aid (Essential)
  • UKATA Asbestos Awareness (Ideal)
  • M&S Simply Compliance (Ideal)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
