Responsibilities


The Vascular Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist will have responsibility for:



  • Managing and leading a specialist service
  • Ensuring high-quality, cost-effective healthcare
  • Developing and implementing new treatment approaches
  • Working closely with nurse and clinical colleagues across the Hertfordshire and West Essex Vascular Network

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A Registered Nurse qualification (or midwife for women's services)
  • Post Graduate level achievement or equivalent experience
  • Management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Substantial NHS experience in an acute environment
  • Financial management experience
  • Leading development and implementation experience
  • Working effectively across professional boundaries
  • Line management experience of groups of staffing
  • Implementing change in a complex environment

We offer a competitive salary of &163;65,000 - &163;80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer:
