Job Title: Digital Front End Engineer

Interface Recruitment UK is seeking a highly skilled Digital Front End Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Digital team, you will be responsible for designing and developing digital communications and engagement solutions for some of the world's best-known brands.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an award-winning communications agency and contribute to the continued growth of the Digital team. You will work on challenging projects from inception to completion, developing and delivering creative digital solutions that utilize the latest technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop digital communications and engagement solutions for brands across various channels, including desktop, mobile, e-comms, and social media.
  • Apply creative thinking and front-end development expertise to every project, optimizing the user experience and delivering solutions to quality and delivery standards.
  • Act as a Trusted Advisor to colleagues and clients, supporting the creation of technical scopes, wireframes, user journey recommendations, and UI design in accordance with best practice.
  • Take the lead on project delivery, ensuring key milestone deadlines are met and exceeded, and resourcing issues are resolved.
Requirements
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of technology, digital best practices, and tech trends.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Ionic, React, Angular, jQuery, WordPress, and utilization of third-party APIs.
  • Solid working knowledge of PHP and DevOps, with a portfolio to match, and a high-level understanding of version control and deployment using Git, in addition to pre-go-live QC/UAT testing.
  • Experience of email marketing design and development, and a background in working with client-side scripting technologies, as well as any mobile and web application development.
